Pick distinct colors
Use colors that are easy to tell apart at a glance — avoid two shades of the same hue. 5–7 distinct topics is usually the upper limit before colors start blending.
Be consistent across events
If your "AI" track is teal at one event, keep it teal at the next. Recurring attendees learn the color system.
